Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour evening shifts (10:30am9:00pm)
- 36 weekly guaranteed hours
- Weekend and call rotations as needed
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible in Missouri
- BLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience (teaching hospital experience considered)
- Scrub and OR circulator expertise
- Strong communication skills, highly motivated, and adaptable
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with patient transfers
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to surgical patients across all ages and acuity
- Utilize assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Coordinate with ancillary departments and maintain accurate patient records in Epic EMR
- Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice
- Orient as required; adapt to varied assignments and departmental needs
