A registered nurse with expertise in the operating room is sought for a travel assignment in Springfield, MO. This role is based in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospitals Main OR, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment where clinical skills and teamwork are essential. The position requires a motivated professional with a strong background in trauma care, OR circulation, and scrub procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients ranging from outpatient to critical care inpatient.
- Assist vascular surgeons during open and endovascular procedures using advanced equipment, including DaVinci robotic systems.
- Perform roles of both scrub and circulating nurse within the operating room and hybrid imaging suite.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold nursing professional standards in accordance with Missouri regulations and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate patient care for optimal outcomes.
- Respond to trauma cases with proficiency in Level 1 or 2 trauma protocols and conscious sedation techniques.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RN licensure eligible or licensed in Missouri.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma settings within a teaching hospital environment.
- Proven competence in both scrub and circulating positions in the OR.
- At least 1 year of interventional vascular experience with familiarity in conscious sedation.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work 4x10 day shifts (0630-1700) with occasional weekend and call duties averaging five per eight weeks.
