Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an Operating Room setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Proficient with surgical instruments, patient monitoring, and sterile field management
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub during operative procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to provide optimal care
- Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after procedures
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
- Accurately document nursing interventions and changes in patient condition
- Advocate for patient needs and well-being at all times
