Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, flexible shifts (schedule details discussed upon interview)
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Proven experience in perioperative or Operating Room nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical procedures
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for surgical cases, ensuring a safe and efficient environment
- Conduct preoperative assessments and verify patient readiness
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout every phase
- Manage instruments, supplies, and medications needed for each procedure
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families before and after surgery
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond promptly
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and hospital safety regulations
