Schedule/Hours:
- 4x10 evening shifts (11:00-21:30), rotating days off to meet unit needs
- Weekend shifts possible
- On-call: Approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month
- Flexibility with time-off requests, provided shifts are made up
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license and current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years prior Operating Room RN experience
- Extensive neuro experience required, including:
- ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, XLIF (must have ALL)
- Expertise with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System robotics (must have)
- Background in Level I Trauma Center setting essential
- Open to first-time travel nurses
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care during complex neuro and robotic surgeries
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment
- Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and adaptability in fast-paced situations
- Respond effectively during on-call hours and weekend shifts as scheduled
