Job Description
Deliver advanced perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment specializing in cardiovascular surgery. This contract role focuses on providing expert scrub and circulating support during cardiac procedures in a Level 1 trauma center setting.

Schedule and Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Four 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Holiday call commitment required
- Weekend rotation as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing during cardiac surgeries with strong scrub and circulating expertise
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain adherence to sterile techniques and procedural protocols
- Support ancillary departments as needed, including OR and SPD areas
Qualifications and Experience
- Current Kansas RN License and BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience at a Level 1 trauma center
- Demonstrated proficiency in scrub role for cardiac surgeries and circulating duties
- Flexibility to float among Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as requested
- Ability to commit to holiday and weekend coverage
Contract Details and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $120/hour before administrative fees

- Bi-weekly pay schedule
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation included
- Client may cancel up to two shifts per month with minimum 2 hours notice
