As a skilled RN with Operating Room experience, youll develop and expand your expertise working with a diverse case mixfrom general surgery and GI cases to orthopedics, neuro, robotics, and reconstructive plastics. Engage with a range of service lines and innovative technologies, including advanced robotics platforms. With minimal pediatrics and high exposure to GI cases, your adaptability will grow as you work across new specialties and learn from various leadership and clinical styles, strengthening your nursing practice for future roles.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 5 Days 8 Hours
- Multiple shifts available:
- 06301500 (MondayFriday) 2 positions
- 11001930 (MondayFriday) 1 position
- 14002230 (MondayFriday) 1 position
Qualifications:
- RN license valid in Texas or compact state
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- EPIC EMR experience highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert perioperative care, independently or as part of a collaborative team
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse surgical population
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring effectiveness and patient response
- Document thoroughly in EPIC, ensuring accurate patient information
- Educate patients and families, addressing complex emotional and social needs
- Delegate and supervise as appropriate, maintaining clinical excellence
