This operating room RN position provides exciting exposure to a wide range of procedures and specialties, supporting your growth as a well-rounded surgical nurse. Schedule:
- Days: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
- Weekend shifts required
- On call required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Recent perioperative nursing experience in an operating room setting
Duties:
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other perioperative staff
- Monitor vital signs, maintain sterile technique, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
- Respond effectively to emergent situations and assist throughout all phases of surgery
