Schedule:
- DAYS: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
- 4 days x 10 hours
Key Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certification, both via AHA
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- At least 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience (preferred)
- Ability and willingness to float to the Main campus OR as staffing needs require
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver both routine and complex perioperative care using a full scope of nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Monitor, administer, and evaluate medications and treatments per physician orders and protocol
- Document patient history, care, and outcomes with attention to detail
- Make informed decisions regarding patient and staff assignments
- Address patients diverse needs with sensitivity to psychological, emotional, and cultural factors
- Educate patients and families on care, resources, and post-treatment needs
