Work Schedule
- 3 Days per week, 12-hour shifts (3PM3AM)
- Rotating weekend shifts (up to 2 per 4-week schedule)
- Floating to alternate units as needed for census
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), and TNCC (or ATCN) required; CPI or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and ability to manage patient care for diverse populations
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments, plan and implement individualized care
- Engage in effective patient education and discharge planning
- Delegate and oversee team assignments to maintain high-quality care
- Foster a positive unit culture by encouraging professional support, innovation, and collaboration
- Serve as a resource for staff, visitors, and physicians
- Maintain compliance with organizational and patient safety protocols
