Schedule/Hours
- Travel position (full-time, rotating shifts)
- Participation in on-call rotation required
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program; BSN preferred
- Current, unrestricted RN license (compact license accepted)
- Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required
- ACLS required or can be obtained within 6 months
- PALS preferred; CNOR certification a plus
- 1-2 years of OR RN circulator experience strongly preferred
- Experience in rural/small hospitals or Critical Access Hospitals is valued
- Confident with a range of cases: general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, endoscopy, minor trauma
Core Responsibilities
- Advocate for the patients safety, verifying all critical details pre-surgery
- Prepare and manage the OR, ensuring aseptic technique and readiness
- Handle documentation, supply accountability, and maintain care quality
- Monitor patients intraoperatively; anticipate needs of surgeons and anesthesia providers
- Respond efficiently to urgent or emergency situations
- Collaborate flexibly with fellow perioperative professionals
