As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room, youll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care during surgical procedures. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience preferred
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) a plus
- Proficient in sterile technique, scrubbing/circulating
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable to new technology and fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, compassionate care as a circulating and scrub nurse during surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile field and infection control protocols
- Accurately document patient information and interventions
- Offer pre- and post-operative support and education to patients and their families
