Those ready to advance their Operating Room nursing expertise will encounter diverse surgical service linesranging from general, GI, ortho, and robotics (including XI, DV5, ION) to reconstructive plastics and more. Experience in these varied specialties expands your skillset, while exposure to different workplace practices and leadership styles sets you up for ongoing career growth.

Schedule:

  • 5 Days, 8 Hours each
    • 06301500 (multiple positions, Mon-Fri)
    • 11001930 (Mon-Fri)
    • 14002230 (Mon-Fri)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Texas or compact state
  • Active BLS certification
  • At least 1 year in Perioperative/OR nursing preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Experience with EPIC strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in assessing, planning, and delivering patient care in complex situations
  • Comfortable caring for minimal pediatrics and participating in a range of surgical specialties
  • Ability to work collaboratively and delegate tasks as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient history, treatments, and care provided
  • Safely administer medications, monitor for efficacy and side effects
  • Address complex psychosocial and cultural needs of patients and families
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying needs and available resources
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by adhering to core competencies and best practices
