As an Operating Room RN, you'll work within a dedicated team, supported by knowledgeable surgical techs and compassionate leaders. The OR unit boasts five state-of-the-art operating rooms, offering exposure to a broad range of procedures including orthopedics, gynecology, robotics, cardiovascular, neuro, thoracic, urology, and general surgery. This diverse environment allows you to grow professionally, increase your clinical versatility, and strengthen your resume.

Schedule & Hours

  • Rotating on-call shifts, including one weeknight per week (11PM-7AM)
  • 1-2 rotating weekend call shifts per five-week schedule

Key Qualifications

  • Active RN license, with substantial OR circulator experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Proven flexibility and adaptability to fulfill rotating call requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills: flexible, compassionate, collaborative
  • Preferred: experience with specialty procedures (orthopedics, robotics, vascular, etc.)

Core Responsibilities

  • Circulate in the operating room, prioritizing patient safety and effective collaboration
  • Adhere to best practices with basic OR equipment (cautery, video monitors, positioning and arthroscopy equipment)
  • Document in Meditech EMR system
  • Contribute positively within a multi-disciplinary surgical team
  • Maintain readiness for scheduled weeknight and weekend call assignments
