As a nursing professional in this high-acuity operating room environment, youll gain invaluable experience working with advanced orthopedic equipment and a seasoned surgical team. Schedule/Hours:

  • Choose between 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
  • 6 on-call shifts within a 4-week schedule
  • On-call requirements may include weekends

Core Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification
  • TNCC or TCAR certification required at submissionno exceptions
  • Extensive experience in orthopedics, particularly trauma orthopedics
  • Experience with orthopedic procedures: arthroscopies, total joints, ortho trauma
  • Proficiency in using Meditech EMR
  • Skilled in high-acuity operating room settings

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional perioperative care in a 453-bed facility
  • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in the operating room for optimal care and safety
  • Participate in advanced surgical procedures using state-of-the-art orthopedic technology
  • Adhere to hospital standardsincluding required scrub attire and best-practice protocols
  • Support team cohesion, patient safety, and quality outcomes without floating to other units
