Schedule/Hours:
- Two 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call up to 7 days within a four-week schedule, including one full weekend
- 13-week contract
Desired Qualifications:
- Active NY State Registered Nurse licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates degree or higher)
- At least 1 year of recent RN-Operating Room experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell systems
- Experience with adult patient populations and 1:1 patient care ratios
- Willingness to float as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality perioperative nursing care to adult patients
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and surgeons
- Monitor patients status throughout procedures and respond to emergent situations
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and medication management
- Float to related units during low census periods
