Schedule/Hours:
- 4 ten-hour shifts: 6:30am5:00pm or 9:00am7:30pm
- Rotational call
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
This role is perfect for Registered Nurses eager to broaden their perioperative experience. You'll work exclusively as a circulator in the operating room, focusing on robotics and neuro cases that add highly marketable skills to your resume. This position provides valuable exposure to new surgical protocols and collaborative leadership styles, fostering continued growth as a clinical professional.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, unrestricted and in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Circulating experience mandatory; scrubbing not required
- Demonstrated expertise in both robotics and neuro procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and coordinate all aspects of surgical procedures for diverse cases, prioritizing robotics and neuro specialties
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, surgical techs, and anesthesia providers to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to rigorous standards of patient safety and infection control at every phase
- Assist in onboarding and supporting surgical team members when needed
