An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with operating room experience, based in Rio Rancho, NM. This contract position offers a specialized role working primarily day shifts in the surgical setting, with a schedule designed to support work-life balance through four 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Assist in patient preparation, monitoring during surgery, and post-operative care
• Participate in float assignments between two hospital facilities as required
• Respond to on-call duties for at least six days per month, including weekends

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an OR RN, with previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to float between Lovelace Medical Center and Heart Hospital as needed
• Comfortable working extended day shifts from 06:30 to 17:00, four days a week
• Professionalism and strong communication skills in clinical settings
