Working as an Operating Room RN in this respected acute care hospital, youll collaborate closely with experienced surgical teams and be immersed in a diverse range of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, C-section and GYN surgeries, ENT, pediatric dental, and urology. Immersing yourself in these varied cases introduces you to new workplace practices and leadership styles, providing rich learning experiences that will sharpen your clinical acumen and enhance your professional profile.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts: 06:3015:00
  • Weekly guarantee: 40 hours
  • Call: 12 weekends/month, 12 weekdays/week

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years experience as an OR circulator
  • BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • Proficiency in General, Ortho, C-Section/GYN, ENT, Pediatric Dental, and Urology cases required; vascular experience (fem-pop, AV fistula) a plus
  • Must be a collaborative team player

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate in surgical environments for a wide range of cases
  • Use equipment including Bovie, laparoscopic towers, Hana table, and more
  • Ensure patient safety and assist with pre and post-operative care
  • Communicate and coordinate with surgeons and surgical team members
