Job Description

Engage your expertise in perioperative nursing at a top-tier Level 1 trauma center in Republic, MO, with an exciting 13-week travel opportunity. This night shift RN role in the Main Operating Room offers a dynamic environment where your skills in trauma care and surgical support will directly improve patient outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure meeting Missouri state requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma settings, preferably within teaching hospitals
  • Proficiency as both scrub nurse and OR circulator
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to adapt to float requirements as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care seamlessly
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold professional accountability
  • Utilize various surgical technologies including DaVinci robotic systems
  • Participate in call rotations averaging 5 or fewer per 8 weeks

Schedule:

  • Night shift (4x10 shifts), scheduled between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM
  • Weekend and call hours as required by the facility
  • Orientation will be conducted on day shifts
