Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with eligibility to practice
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards and hospital policies
• Proficiency with the full nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care consistent with best nursing practices and perioperative protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure safe, seamless procedures
• Participate in meeting the learning and educational needs of patients, families, and caregivers
• Assess patient and family readiness to learn; utilize patient education resources effectively
• Identify, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with complex needs
• Engage in performance improvement activities and contribute to unit goals
• Actively promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
• Participate in cost-effective care initiatives
• Apply current research and evidence-based findings to daily practice
