Deliver expert clinical care and promote optimal outcomes in a dynamic operating room environment. As a RN specializing in perioperative services, you will collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team, exercising your clinical knowledge and communication skills to coordinate and implement patient-centered care. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with eligibility to practice
- Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards and hospital policies
- Proficiency with the full nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care consistent with best nursing practices and perioperative protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure safe, seamless procedures
- Participate in meeting the learning and educational needs of patients, families, and caregivers
- Assess patient and family readiness to learn; utilize patient education resources effectively
- Identify, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with complex needs
- Engage in performance improvement activities and contribute to unit goals
- Actively promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
- Participate in cost-effective care initiatives
- Apply current research and evidence-based findings to daily practice
