Schedule/Hours:
- Shift: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
- Days: Monday to Friday
- On call: 1-2 days per week, 2 weekends per month
Qualifications:
- Must reside at least 100 miles from Quemado, TX
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
- Active Registered Nurse license valid within Texas
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and/or circulate during operative procedures
- Participate in department admissions to the operative suite
- Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to all standards
- Coordinate with surgical teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care
- Communicate directly with patients, families, and the surgical team
- Prepare and stock the operating room, ensuring all equipment is functional
