This travel assignment offers exposure to a 453-bed facility well-regarded for its cutting-edge orthopedic surgeries and trauma care. Operating Room experience in this dynamic hospital setting will enhance your resume and open pathways to future roles in leading health systems. Youll also benefit from a manageable 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in the OR, where precise care and attention make a measurable difference.
Schedule:
- Work three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call requirement: six call shifts per four-week schedule
- No floating to other units
- On-call and weekend rotation
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required upon submission
- Orthopedic and trauma orthopedic experience essential
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
- Experience with arthroscopies, total joints, and ortho trauma procedures
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Manage complex orthopedic trauma cases
- Accurately document in Meditech
- Uphold all safety protocols and hospital policies
