Schedule:

• 5 Days, 8-Hour Shifts
• Weekend shifts and on-call duty required
• Full Time

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver independent, patient-centered nursing care in the operating room using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; closely monitor patient responses
• Accurately document patient histories, medications, symptoms, and interventions
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers; assess learning needs and identify resources
• Address the psychological, cultural, and social needs of patients and families as required
• Make thoughtful assignments and provide effective delegation to ensure optimal care

Minimum Qualifications:

• BLS certification (required)
• Current RN license in Louisiana or compact state (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• At least 1 year of Operating Room or relevant nursing experience preferred
