As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, youll collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals and gain exposure to a variety of leadership styles and perioperative best practices. Schedule/Hours

• 8-hour rotating shifts: 0630-1500, 0900-1730, 1100-1930
• 40 hours per week
• Voluntary weekend coverage and call

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited registered nurse program (BSN preferred)
• At least 2 years of prior Operating Room experience
• Licensed as an RN in Pennsylvania
• BLS and ACLS certification (must be current per AHA guidelines)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to function effectively as a team member
• Knowledge of perioperative nursing standards (AORN)
• Ability to maintain professionalism, composure, and sensitivity when supporting patients and families
• In-house six-month OR course provided for candidates without previous experiencemust begin upon hire

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for surgical patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Develop and update individualized plans of care throughout the perioperative process
• Maintain a sterile field; ensure equipment functionality and readiness
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and co-workers
• Participate in ongoing education, skills training, and competency maintenance
