Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
• Weekend shifts and on-call coverage are required

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a nationally accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact State license
• BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA (required)
• Proficiency appropriate to the type and age of patient population served
• Commitment to patient rights and delivery of respectful, compassionate care
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to perioperative settings
• Demonstrate safe, efficient nursing practice according to unit standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal outcomes
• Respond adeptly to emergency and crisis situations
• Maintain compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
