Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• At least one year of recent operating room experience as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse
• Current BLS certification (required); ACLS/PALS preferred
• Familiarity with a range of surgical specialties and procedures
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other team members
• Proficient at adapting to rapidly changing situations and calmly responding to emergencies

Schedule:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub on surgical procedures, ensuring complete adherence to aseptic techniques
• Prepare the OR and surgical instruments before procedures; anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Monitor and advocate for patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical interventions
• Accurately document nursing interventions, patient responses, and surgical activities
• Implement physician orders in accordance with established policies and best practices
• Maintain a sterile environment and comply with all infection control protocols
