This placement, situated in a Level I Trauma Center, presents the ideal environment for professional development. Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12 night shifts (18:3007:00), rotating days off based on unit needs
- May include weekend scheduling
- On-call approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month
- Flexibility on requested time off (make-up shifts as needed)
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with 3 years prior OR experience
- Robust neuro experience: ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, XLIF
- Robotics expertise: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
- BLS certification
- Level I Trauma Center background required
- First-time travelers are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the OR, with focus on complex neuro and robotic procedures
- Participate in trauma response teams and collaborate across multidisciplinary groups
- Ensure meticulous documentation and safe patient outcomes through evidence-based practices
- Fulfill scheduled and on-call responsibilities
