Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- Expertise in preparing surgical suites and sterile technique
- Proficient in intraoperative patient care, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- BLS and ACLS certifications (other certifications may be preferred)
- Adaptability and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and protocol
- Coordinate patient care pre, intra, and post-operatively
- Maintain a sterile environment and proper documentation throughout procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and unexpected changes
- Act as an advocate for patient safety and comfort
