Role Overview:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room, youll provide vital surgical care and support, fostering patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license, with eligibility to practice in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Proficient in perioperative procedures and aseptic techniques
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
- Monitor patient status, document care interventions, and promptly address concerns
- Adhere strictly to safety and infection control protocols
- Provide patient education and support for surgical recovery

$1,601 - $1,751/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
