Deliver direct patient care within an Operating Room environment, ensuring a high standard of safety, compassion, and clinical expertise for surgical patients. Utilize your critical thinking skills and clinical judgment to support positive patient outcomes, all while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and guiding both licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Demonstrated experience in Operating Room nursing required
- Comprehensive knowledge of perioperative care, surgical procedures, and sterile techniques
- Ability to assess rapidly changing patient conditions and respond appropriately
- Skilled in mentoring or precepting peers and supporting staff development
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and willingness to engage in continuous education
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough nursing assessments and reassessments in accordance with policies and patient condition
- Develop, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; regularly revise plans based on clinical findings
- Collaborate with surgical teams, patients, and families to coordinate safe, effective care throughout the surgical process
- Monitor and accurately document patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed
- Provide patient and family education on surgical procedures, recovery, and discharge planning
- Supervise and delegate tasks to both licensed and unlicensed personnel
- Actively participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and service process initiatives
- Demonstrate leadership by identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to organizational excellence
