Professionally, youll be immersed in a fast-paced Main Operating Room at a renowned healthcare facility recognized for its commitment to safety, innovation, and patient-centered care. This Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center offers unparalleled exposure to diverse clinical practices, advanced robotic procedures, and experienced interdisciplinary teams. Schedule/Hours
- 3x12 hour shifts, FridaySunday (Day shift)
- Weekend hours as required by the facility
- Average call requirements: 5 or fewer per 8 weeks
- 13-week assignment
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Current RN license (eligible for or current Missouri RN)
- BLS certification from AHA
- 2+ years Level 1 or 2 trauma experience (teaching hospital experience considered)
- Scrub and OR circulator experience
- Minimum 1 year Interventional Vascular and competent in conscious sedation
- Highly motivated self-starter
Preferred Skills
- Multiple years Level 1 Trauma center experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for a diverse case mix from outpatient to critical care
- Collaborate in the OR and hybrid imaging suite, including endovascular and open cases
- Work alongside vascular surgeons, nurses, and techs
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards and patient rights
- Ensure effective care coordination with ancillary departments
