Job Description

Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in a busy Main Operating Room setting, supporting a Level 1 Trauma Center recognized for advanced patient safety and innovative care. This travel Registered Nurse opportunity, based in Nixa, MO, offers a 13-week assignment working night shifts with a dynamic team at a top-tier hospital known for its dedication to quality and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care across all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the surgical environment.
  • Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and care coordination.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Function as both scrub and circulating nurse, supporting complex surgeries including robot-assisted procedures.
  • Participate in mandatory orientation and maintain professional nursing standards, complying with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Level 1 or 2 Trauma surgical settings.
  • Proficient in both scrub and circulating OR roles.
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association.
  • Experience in a teaching hospital preferred.
  • Ability to work night shifts with a 4x10 schedule, including occasional weekend hours and call duties.
