Schedule & Shift Details
- Two 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call: Up to 7 days per four-week schedule (including one full weekend)
- 13-week assignment
As a skilled RN with Operating Room experience, you'll deliver exceptional patient care for adults in a surgical setting featuring 2 beds, handling cases such as CAD and AS. You'll work in a modern, technologically advanced environment utilizing EPIC and Omnicell systems, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and efficiency. Opportunities for floating to additional units may arise if census is low, broadening your flexibility and exposure.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates degree or higher)
- Current New York State RN license in good standing
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with EPIC and Omnicell preferred
- Willingness to float as required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult surgical patients in a 1:1 setting
- Prepare, assess, and monitor patients pre, intra, and post-operatively
- Maintain accurate documentation using advanced EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
- Respond to on-call needs as part of the shared call rotation
