Key Schedule Details:
- 40 hours per week
- Combination of 2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts
- No on-call or weekend obligations
Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Proven experience in an operating room setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure efficient workflows and patient safety
- Maintain and monitor sterile fields and handle surgical instruments appropriately
- Respond to emergencies, anticipating the needs of the surgical team and patients
- Accurately document procedures, patient status, and any critical incidents
- Uphold compliance with best practices, safety policies, and regulatory standards
