A registered nurse with expertise in the operating room is needed for a travel assignment based in Murphysboro, IL. This opportunity involves primarily working day shifts in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with call responsibilities as required. In addition, there is a floating requirement to provide clinical support across various units according to professional scope, licensure, and demonstrated competencies.

Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification required
- Ability and flexibility to float to clinically appropriate units as needed
- Demonstrated competencies within the scope of practice
Southern Illinois Hospital Certification Requirements:
Depending on the unit, certifications may include:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS for emergency departments
- BLS and NIHSS for medical and rehab units
- CSU-ALS preferred for ICU units at some locations
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the CVOR during day shifts
- Participate in on-call coverage as designated
- Float to other clinical units within the facility as required, supporting patient care based on licensure and competency
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain certifications relevant to patient care areas
