This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room, specializing in orthopedic procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesia providers, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Support orthopedic surgical procedures with strong clinical knowledge and technical skills.
- Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery, including preparation and monitoring.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to document patient care accurately.
- Float to other sites within a 40-mile radius as needed, within your clinical skill set.
- Participate in call rotations covering evenings and every third weekend, plus holiday coverage on a rotating basis.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
- Strong orthopedic surgery background required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to adjust to variable start times and flexible scheduling needs.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 0630 to 1500 hours, with variable start times.
- On-call coverage evenings during the week (1-2 times), every third weekend, and holidays on a rotating basis.
