Nestled near the vibrant heart of Midway, FL, this travel assignment offers an unmatched opportunity to contribute your Operating Room nursing expertise in a region rich with natural beauty and southern charm. Youll work in a dynamic outpatient setting with six operating rooms, each staffed for optimal 1:1 patient care, supporting advanced orthopedic procedures including robotic total joint replacement, hand, foot & ankle surgery, and sports medicine interventions. Enjoy collaborating with experienced colleagues and benefit from exposure to diverse clinical practices, documentation methods, and leadership approaches. With no night shifts, weekends, holidays, or call required, youll have the freedom to discover the beautiful Gulf Coast, local culinary delights, and nearby parks on your days off.
Schedule:
- 7:00AM-5:00PM
- 10-hour shifts
- No call, nights, weekends, or holidays
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- Operating Room experience (orthopedics highly preferred)
- Familiarity with orthopedic, spine, and pain procedure protocols
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for a broad range of orthopedic and spine surgeries
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, techs, and anesthesiology staff
- Adhere to established protocols for quality improvement and patient satisfaction
- Maintain clear, accurate paper documentation
