Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room to provide exceptional care and support in a fast-paced surgical environment. The position offers a contract assignment focused on delivering patient-centered care alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated experience in the Operating Room, including circulating and/or scrubbing
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and infection control
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and high-pressure setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Monitor patients, document observations, and communicate with the surgical team
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers by preparing and managing equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Adhere to hospital policies and national standards for patient safety and infection control
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-op care
• Handle emergency situations swiftly, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
