Exceptional opportunity for experienced Operating Room nurses with specialized transplant skills. This contract position requires a commitment to delivering top-tier care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates must have strong experience with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants and be proficient in Misonix/CUSA technology. This role focuses on comprehensive transplant procedures, including organ implantation.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR nursing experience
- Proficiency with Misonix/CUSA equipment essential
- Must have experience in organ implantation, not just harvesting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of submission
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
- Nicotine-free; negative 10 panel drug screen including cotinine mandatory
- Ability to commit to on-call schedule: 1 shift per week plus two 12-hour weekend shifts monthly
- Locals within the region encouraged to apply; pending licenses accepted
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex transplant surgeries with a focus on liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants
- Provide perioperative nursing care adhering to the highest clinical standards
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Participate in facility-mandated time-sensitive training modules promptly
Schedule:
- 3x 12-hour day shifts, 11:00 AM 11:30 PM
- Guaranteed 36 to 40 hours per week, with a fixed call schedule
