This contract opportunity is ideal for an RN with a robust background in Operating Room nursing, specifically focusing on liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant surgeries.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4x10-hour day shifts (06:45 17:15)
• On-call required: 1 shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month (discussed at interview)
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week for 10-hour shifts

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of direct Operating Room RN experience in liver and transplant cases
• Documented experience on a skills checklist with strong proficiency in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant proceduresincluding organ implantation (not only harvesting)
• Proficient with MISONIX/CUSA equipment
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required at submission), NIHSS certification (can be obtained before starting)
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome at the same rate
• Pending state license considered
• Ability to float within scope as needed
• All RTO must be submitted during the application process; no nicotine use (nicotine testing required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in on highly specialized transplant procedures for adult patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based perioperative care
• Ensure patient safety and strict adherence to infection control standards
• Prioritize and complete mandatory onboarding modules and trainings as assigned
