Job Description
A Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience is needed to support surgical teams in a dynamic hospital setting. This opportunity is ideal for nurses skilled in multiple specialties who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to contribute to high-quality patient care on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with surgical procedures in at least three of the following specialties: Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Thoracic.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other operating room staff to ensure efficient patient care.
- Maintain sterile techniques and assist with patient preparation for surgery.
- Provide intraoperative nursing care and monitor patient status during procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized operating room environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current RN license with experience in Operating Room nursing.
- Ability to function effectively in three out of the four listed surgical specialties.
- Experience with scrubbing techniques is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules without a fixed block schedule.
