Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract position with variable hours, schedule provided upon assignment
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license required
- Minimum one year of recent ER or OR experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Circulate or scrub for surgical procedures, ensuring high-quality intraoperative care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to deliver safe patient outcomes
- Verify surgical consents and maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Monitor patient status, document care, and provide post-operative reports
- Offer patient and family education as needed and maintain a calm, efficient environment under pressure
