The exposure to varied operating room practices, combined with the responsibility of supporting only two busy orthopedic ORs, provides valuable opportunities to bolster your clinical acumen and adaptabilityskills that make a lasting impression on any resume. Schedule:

  • Daylight shifts, rotating weekly:
    • 5:30am2:00pm
    • 6:30am3:00pm
    • 7:30am until end of elective/add-on cases (typically around 4:004:30pm)
  • Two weekend call shifts (6:00am6:00pm) required per 6-week schedule
  • No weekday call, but flexibility to stay beyond shift end for case completion (rarely exceeding two hours)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • At least one year of recent Operating Room RN experience
  • Strong orthopedic surgical background preferred
  • Ability to work flexibly in a small team and adapt to dynamic daily schedules

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and scrub within orthopedic operating rooms
  • Support elective surgeries and manage add-on cases as needed
  • Ensure patient safety and uphold high standards of perioperative care
  • Collaborate effectively within a six-member team
