Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care in the Operating Room during day shifts
- Float to other units as required, adhering to professional competency standards
- Respond to on-call requirements with professionalism and promptness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Additional certifications based on unit requirements, including PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CSU-ALS preferred for specific units
Southern Illinois Hospital Certification Overview:
Assignments may span emergency departments, ICUs, step-down units, medical-surgical floors, and rehabilitation centers requiring various certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and others dependent on the specific unit.
