Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment (specific hours will be discussed during interview)

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary member of an interdisciplinary perioperative team
  • Deliver individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care to surgical patients
  • Uphold the highest standards as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics
  • Practice within the clinical structure provided by innovative governance and professional practice models
  • Support patient service goals and prioritize the voice of the patient
  • Maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and service excellence standards

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact licensure)
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Strong understanding of perioperative nursing principles and current best practices
  • BLS certification required; additional perioperative certifications preferred
  • Collaborative, positive approach to team-based care
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
