Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific hours will be discussed during interview)
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary member of an interdisciplinary perioperative team
- Deliver individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care to surgical patients
- Uphold the highest standards as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics
- Practice within the clinical structure provided by innovative governance and professional practice models
- Support patient service goals and prioritize the voice of the patient
- Maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and service excellence standards
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact licensure)
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- Strong understanding of perioperative nursing principles and current best practices
- BLS certification required; additional perioperative certifications preferred
- Collaborative, positive approach to team-based care
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
