Schedule/Hours:
- 6:30am 7:00pm
- 13-week assignment
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years recent orthopedic nursing experience in the operating room
- Current and valid RN license
- American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
- Must be willing to commute; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care utilizing current best practices
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Prepare and maintain operating rooms, ensuring strict adherence to protocols
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and promptly respond to emergent needs
- Document interventions and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Support continuous improvement by participating in quality and safety initiatives
