Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license in California (or compact state eligible for CA licensure)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability in fast-paced surgical settings
- Experience with a variety of surgical procedures is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of perioperative nursing, including patient assessment, preparation, and recovery
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and a safe, sterile environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs
- Anticipate instrument and supply needs throughout procedures
- Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes
- Document intraoperative activities accurately and efficiently
