Schedule/Hours:

  • Primarily weekend coverage

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Current CPR and ACLS certifications
  • At least one year of recent Perioperative charge nurse or relief charge nurse experience
  • Strength in clinical decision-making and adaptability
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
  • Desired: Two or more years of Critical Care RN experience
  • CNOR certification is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and scrub in a dynamic Operating Room environment
  • Float as needed into Med/Surg and Critical Care units, adapting to shifting priorities
  • Ensure patient safety and exceptional care throughout surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to support staff during weekend shifts
