Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 10:30 PM 7:00 AM
- Shift ends at 7:00 AM on Saturday
- No assigned holidays or weekend call beyond Saturday morning
Key Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- Strong clinical competence with robotics and neuro surgery experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred, but not required
- Commitment to quality patient care and teamwork
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles outside the Machesney Park area
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate OR nursing activities during assigned shifts
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams on robotics and neuro cases
- Ensure effective patient preparation, intra-operative monitoring, and recovery support
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff, ensuring best practices are followed
- Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives
